U.S. Marines with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa completed an aerial refueling mission from Morón Air Base, Spain, Feb. 25, 2015. Two MV-22B Ospreys connected to refueling lines on a KC-130J, which refueled the Ospreys over the Atlantic Ocean. Link
A four-year restoration project of a 1937 Lockheed 10A “Electra” is nearly complete. The aircraft is a sister to the Lockheed Model 10 Electra flown by Amelia Earhart in 1937 when she disappeared over the central Pacific Ocean. Link
EU Agency for Aviation Safety chairman Pekka Henttu claims to be close to the investigation into the Germanwing’s crash, and to have unofficial information as to the contents of the cockpit voice recording. He suggests the crew may have been unconscious contrary to official reports, but believes there is no reason to speculate. Link
