On Tuesday morning, a Martinaire Cessna 208 aircraft crashed into a field near Fulshear, Texas, killing its sole pilot and the paraglider.
The Cessna crashed after it collided with a paraglider en-route from Houston-George Bush Intercontinental Airport to Victoria Regional Airport at around 9:40 a.m.
The single-engine plane was at an altitude of 4800 feet before it entered a sharp descent. The pilot and the paraglider died in the fatal crash.

The Cessna 208 aircraft belonged to a “sportsman’s club”, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. This incident will be investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) jointly.
