A Beech 200 Super King Air has crash-landed on its belly at Perth Airport after its landing gear collapsed.
The twin-turbo prop aircraft, which had flown in from a mid-west mine, was due to land about 10.40am on Tuesday before reporting a landing indicator problem.
It is understood that as the plane hit the tarmac, the landing gear buckled underneath it.
However, the pilot was able to complete the landing safely and there were no reports of injuries among the 10 passengers aboard, who disembarked without trouble.
“Passengers have been disembarked and their health and care is our top priority,” a Perth Airport spokesman said.
Incident has been reported to Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
Engineers will review the aircraft and then it will be moved once safe to do so.
A runway review will then be conducted to ensure runway is safe to use again.
