The An-124 cargo board of Volga-Dnepr Airlines received a lightning strike during the approach to Krasnoyarsk, Russia on Tuesday, May 26.
The aircraft sustained damage to its nose cone while flying through lightning and a thunderstorm.
The Volga Dnepr Airlines An-124 (RA-82078) is currently under inspection and may need repair.
