A 48-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing at an Air Canada operations centre in Brampton, Ont., that injured two people, including one in critical condition.
Stephan Campbell of Milton, Ont., was arrested off the premises after police responded to reports that two people suffered stab wounds just after 10 p.m. ET Wednesday at the business on Ironbridge Road.
Tactical teams conducted a search to ensure the building, where fewer than 100 people work, was safe.
A 46-year-old man was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. Police say he remains in critical condition.
Police say he and Campbell knew each other, but would not comment further.
