Southern Rail reported that there was a fault with the electric third rail at Gatwick and trains are at a standstill.
A spokesperson for National Rail said: “A fault with the electric third rail at Gatwick is causing delays of up to 20 minutes to journeys to and from the stations. This is expected to continue until 10:15.”
