Delta is to launch 2 new routes from the UK to the US next year in agreement with Virgin Atlantic
US carrier will operate new route from Heathrow to Salt Lake City and the other route from Edinburgh to New York JFK.
The new Heathrow route will be operated on B767-300 on a seasonal service.
Salt Lake City will be the airlines’ tenth (eighth, when launches) US destination out of Heathrow.
The new route begins on the 1st May.
Delta currently operates from Heathrow to Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York JFK, Newark, Philadelphia and Seattle.
Delta will be stopping service to Los Angeles and Newark before the new route launches.
The new Edinburgh route will be operate on B757-200 on all year round service.
The airline has previously flown this route and will be resumed on the 27th May.
