An United Airlines Boeing 777 returned to Frankfurt after more, than 2 hours into the flight.
The United Airlines flight UA927 departed Frankfurt Sunday, August 17 2025 for a flight to San Francisco.
But about one hour into the flight, while the Boeing 777-200ER (registration N78008) was entering British Airspace over Scotland, the crew decided to turn around while cruising at 30,000 feet due to a technical issue.
The Boeing aircraft returned to FRA 2 hours and 30 minutes after departure. The airline confirmed the need to take the plane out of service. The flight was canceled.
