An Air France flight from Paris diverted to Senegal while flying over Atlantic.

The Boeing 777-300ER (registration F-GZNR) departed Paris CDG Airport Tuesday, August 12 2025 for a flight to Rio De Janeiro.

While cruising at 32,000 feet off Africa’s coast, the crew contacted ATC about a medical situation on board.

The Air France flight AF442 diverted to Blaise Diagne International Airport then resumed the journey only 1 hour after stopover.
