Japan Transocean Air flight NU44 departed Naha International Airport Saturday, July 12 2025
at 15:52 JST to Tokoname, Japan.
The Boeing 737-800 (registration JA02RK) climbed to 33,000 feet then turned around about 30 minutes into the flight.
The crew declared an emergency (squawk 7700) and requested a return to OKA Airport.
