Air Europa flight to Madrid returned to Asunción twice, dumping fuel, following technical issues.

In an uncommon incident, an Air Europa Boring aircraft was forced to make a double emergency landing in Asunción.

Air Europa flight UX24 with nearly 300 people onboard departed from runway 20 of Asunción to Madrid Monday, June 30 2025 at 11:56 PYT.

The Boeing 787-9 (registration EC-NBM) had to circle during one hour at 10,000 feet to dump fuel then returned to Silvio Pettirossi International Airport following a technical issue.

Two hours after the incident, and after being refueled, the Dreamliner aircraft took off for the same route but pilots noticed a second technical failure.

The exact same scenario occurred. The Boeing 787 aircraft had to dump fuel again and returned to ASU Airport one hour later.
