The aircraft (registration G-LMSA) was experiencing an engine failure. The crew was forced to shut down the right hand turboprop engine.
The ATR 42-600 landed on a single engine on runway 34 at ABZ Airport.
Fire trucks were ready to reach the aircraft but the situation was well controlled by the pilots who performed a smooth landing.
