A Lanhsa Airlines BAe Jetstream 31 was forced to make an emergency landing at Puerto Lempira Airport, Honduras after colliding with a large bird.
As a result, the large bird (poss buzzard) impacted the nose of the aircraft resulting in major damage to its nose.
The crew had to make an emergency landing on the dirt track following the bird strike.
A BAe Jetstream 31 belonging to Lanhsa Airlines received major damages to its nose Radome due to a big bird hit , and the aircraft made an emergency landing at Puerto Lempira Airport (PEU/MHPL). No further incident reported.

Thanks to the swift response of all those involved, no injuries were reported, only aircraft damage.
