An Alliance Airlines passenger plane traveling from Carins to the Australian island of Groote Eylandt was forced to make an emergency landing after a fight broke out between several passengers.
According to video, several passengers became belligerent after someone threw a bottle. The plane returned to Cairns — where it originally departed — about an hour into the flight.

“A female passenger was removed and charged with disorderly behavior on an aircraft, common assault and failing to comply with safety instructions by cabin crew,” an AFP spokesperson told News.com.au.
After several hours, the flight once again departed. But another fight broke out between the same passengers shortly after takeoff. One of the plane windows was smashed in as several onlooking passengers screamed.
