On April 1st, an Azul Linhas Aereas Embraer E195 was forced to return to Campinas after it sustained a bird strike while climbing out of the Brazilian airport.
The Embraer E195-E2 with registration PS-AEI was operating flight AD2843 from Campinas Viracopos International Airport to Rio de Janeiro. However, flight AD2843 was struck by a bird at around 8000 feet shortly after taking off from Campinas.
As seen in the footage shared on the internet the Radom of the aircraft was damaged.

Following the bird strike, the aircraft returned back to Campinas for a safe landing on Runway 33.
The Embraer E195 involved in the incident was delivered to the airline back in October 2022.
