Gulf Air on Tuesday announced that its flight GF19 from Bahrain to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris was diverted to Erbil, Iraq as a crew member suffered a heart attack.
Gulf Air said that flight GF19 from Bahrain to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris was on November 22 diverted to Erbil after a crew member suffered a heart attack that led to his demise in the Iraqi city.
The flight to Paris was later resumed as scheduled, the company said.
“The national carrier expresses its deepest condolences to the crew member’s family and loved ones, and confirms that the flight resumed to Paris as scheduled,” the airline said in a statement.
