INCIDENT Precision Air ATR-72 suffered multiple birstrikes on approach to Mwanza, Tanzania
Precision Air aircraft crossed a flock of large birds on approach to Mwanza Airport. The ATR-72 (reg. 5H-PWD) suffered multiple birstrikes resulting in damage to flight sensors as well as blurring the forward vision for the pilots. The aircraft landed safely at Mwanza Airport (HTMW), Tanzania.
