Etihad Airways will connect the Middle East to the Scottish capital with the launch this week of daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Edinburgh. Edinburgh is Etihad Airways’ first Scottish destination, and its third point in the UK, alongside a triple-daily operation to London Heathrow and double-daily flights to Manchester.
Emirates is launching services to Multan, Pakistan, beginning 1st August, 2015. Service to Multan, Pakistan’s 5th largest city by population, will commence with four weekly flights operated by a Boeing 777-300 in a two-class configuration – 54 seats in Business Class and 310 in Economy Class.
The International Air Transport Association has confirmed that Andres Conesa, CEO of Aeromexico, has assumed his duties as Chairman of the IATA Board of Governors for a one-year term, effective immediately. Conesa is the first Mexican to hold this position.
