A traffic control camera captured footage of a twin-engine aircraft making an emergency landing and skidding along a roadway on Tuesday.
The twin-engine Embraer Navajo had three passengers on board but no one was injured, according to the local fire service.
The National Civil Aviation Agency confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that the plane’s airworthiness was valid until January 2018.
A team from the Centre of Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents was sent to the site to in the town of Santa Isabel in Sao Paulo state, Brazil, to investigate the circumstances, with the aim of preventing further accidents.
