The flight AF198 from Paris to Bangkok diverted to Tbilisi due to a technical issue in the flight deck.

Air France flight AF198 departed Paris CDG at 17:04 CEST Sunday, August 10 2025 to Bangkok, Thailand.

While cruising at 37,000 feet over Turkmenistan, the Airbus A350-900 (registration F-HUVA) turned around towards Azerbaijan.

According to Flightradar24, a malfunctioning oxygen bottle on the flight deck forced the pilots to divert to Tbilisi (TBS).

As the flight was cancelled, Air France sent another A350 (registration F-HUVM) on Monday as a rescue flight to Bangkok.
