A British Airways flight to Aberdeen returned to London Heathrow after one landing attempt.

The British Airways BA1314 departed London Heathrow for a one-hour to Abderdeen.

The Airbus A320neo (registration G-TTNM) attempted to land on runway 34 but with wind gusting up to 43 kt, the pilots performed a go around and decided to return to Heathrow Airport.

Storm Floris has significantly disrupted air travel across Scotland today, with gusts reaching up to 90 mph in coastal areas and 108 mph recorded in the Highlands. Major airports—including Glasgow and Edinburgh—have cancelled numerous flights.
