A change of aircraft on todays TUI operated flight from Malaga to Newcastle resulted in this Hi Fly Airbus A340-500 CS-TFX.
After a kind heads-up from a friend I decided this was not a movement to miss.
So I made my way their through the snow and treacherous road conditions to film it. Then sadly the visibility worsened and as you can see it only allowed me to film it landing.
A340s are a rarity to see here in the North, and on 3 previous occasions I’ve had the chance to see a 600/200/300 variant.

Originally intended to be delivered to Kingfisher Airlines, it was then re registered and delivered to Hi Fly in 2008.
