Grounded since 2020 the Boeing 737-800 registration N920AN has left storage from Roswell, NM.

The 24 years old aircraft left Roswell, NM to Jacksonville, FL on Thursday, November 16 2023 for possible retrofit and technical checks.

On Monday, April 8 2024, the aircraft departed to Miami to return to the airline’s flight operations.

This same day, the aircraft operated its first commercial flight since the pandemic. Flight #AA1377 departed Miami to Liberia.

In 2020, the airline was forced to ground about 70 Boeing 737 aircraft due to demand drop in global aviation following the COVID.
