A Frontier Airlines Airbus A320neo was damaged in Denver after it struck an obstacle during pushback on Friday, April 19, 2024.

The Airbus A320neo was scheduled to operate flight FFT4794 bound for Fargo, North Dakota. However, it encountered a mishap during pushback from the gate at Denver International Airport (KDEN).

While maneuvering away from the terminal, the aircraft’s right winglet, also known as a sharklet, struck an obstacle, possibly a jetway.

Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries among the ground personnel or those on board. The incident did cause a delay in the flight.

The Airbus A320neo was taken out of service for a two-day period to undergo repairs. The nature of the repairs is not yet public information.

After a successful inspection and maintenance, the aircraft was cleared to resume normal operations on Sunday, April 21st.
