Following the incident at Moscow, Domodedovo airport, a damaged A380 has left Moscow.

An Emirates A380 was damaged in Moscow on March, 27 2024 when a truck crashed under the belly of the wide-body airliner.

The aircraft (registration A6-EDM) was planned to operate flight EK134 from Moscow to Dubai when the fuselage was struck.

But despite initial concerns, Western sanctions on Russia didn’t really delay the repairing.

Five days after the incident, Emirates was able to ferry back the aircraft to Dubai.

The flight EK2508 departed Moscow during the night at 02:00 MSK and landed 5 hours later after flying as high as 41,000 ft without passengers on board.
