Laser beams were pointed at commercial aircraft during pyrotechnics show in Mexico

During pyrotechnics show, lasers were pointed at several aircraft on final approach.

Videos circulating on TikTok show lasers being pointed at low altitude flights in Tultepec, Mexico.

In the videos you can see a crowd of people enjoying the attractions and mechanical games of the International Pyrotechnics Fair. 

Soon a plane was flying through the area, so some of the attendees decided it would be a good idea to target the transport with laser beams.

The planes were on approach to Felipe Ángeles International Airport, also known as Mexico City Felipe Ángeles International Airport or simply Mexico City-AIFA is an international airport located in Zumpango, State of Mexico, 35 kilometres north of Mexico City.

Later, a drone was also pointed by laser beams on prupose.

The National Pyrotechnic Festival, which takes place in Mexico, is an annual event to promote the country’s tradition of production and use of fireworks. 

Laser pointing on a flying aircraft is a criminal activity.
