The flight #AA714 from Philadelphia to Venezia was forced to divert to Boston for an emergency landing.

The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner took off from Philadelphia on time at 7:45pm EDT.

But one hour later, the crew contacted ATC about a medical emergency.

The aircraft (N812AA) was rerouted to Boston when it landed 1,5 hour after departure.

It taxied to the gate where emergency services were awating. A passenger on board suffered a stroke.

The flight AA714 then departed Boston. It is expected land 4 hours late, by 2pm at Venezia, Italy.
