Qatar Airways flight #QR719 from Doha to Seattle diverted to Oslo.
Qatar Airways QR719 departed Doha on Sept 20 at 08:35 AST for 14 hour-flight to West coast of the USA.
But the Boeing 777-300ER suffered an issue while crossing the Arctic Ocean.
The pilots contacted ATC about an engine issue and turned left over the Svalbard while cruising at 28,000 ft.
The aircraft (reg. A7-BEU) flew over Sweden to Stockholm.
But the airline finally decided to divert the flight to Oslo, Norway where it landed at 18:30 CEST.
