KLM Boeing 777 flight #KL590 to Amsterdam returned to Accra right after take off

Passengers were stranded for several hours at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra.

The flight KL590 was scheduled to depart ACC to Amsterdam at 22:05 but was delayed for one hour late Friday, July 28.

The KLM airline made a U-turn due to a “technical issue”.

The Boeing 777-300 (reg. PH-BVI) was in the air for only 20 minutes before returning to ACC.

According to an eyewitness, who was onboard soon after boarding the aircraft, the internal ambiance was very warm than usual, on landing it was getting warmer and warmer and the fire brigade was called for safety.
