The European regulator will authorize the return to service of the Boeing 737 MAX “next week”, according to the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

“We think we will publish it (the airworthiness directive, Editor’s note) next week. From our point of view, the MAX will be able to fly again (in Europe) from next week”, announced Tuesday the director of the European regulator, Patrick Ky, during a video press conference with the German aeronautical press association LPC.

The aircraft has undergone technical modifications and numerous tests since these air disasters, in particular with regard to the MCAS anti-stall system involved in the crashes.
