All Nippon Airways have announced that they now intend to retire 35 aircraft from their fleet in 2020 as a result of the COVID pandemic.

This is up from 7 announced earlier in the year.

The early retirement plans include 22 Boeing 777’s and at least 6 Boeing 777-300ER’s that fly internationally to destinations such as Heathrow.

The airline will also delay the delivery of one Boeing 777 and their A380.
