As Black Lives Matter protests roil cities across the United States and the world, a pilot seems to have drawn a fist in the sky as a gesture of solidarity to protestors.

The piece of space art was created this yesterday afternoon in about two hours by a pilot who took off from Halifax airport and proceeded to draw a fist in the skies above Nova Scotia.

The aircraft used is a Cirrus SR22 (reg. C-GZPT).

We don’t know what the pilot’s intentions were, but given the protests that have been happening in every state and around the world, it’s fair to guess what was top of his mind when he flew a route representing a symbol of solidarity in the wake of the protests.
