EasyJet has said it will ‘ground the majority of its fleet of aircraft’ from Tuesday.
It will operate rescue flights ‘as required to repatriate customers’ still abroad and will continue to run a ‘minimal schedule of essential services’.
The minimal scheduled services will mainly involve routes serving the UK, it has been reported.
The EasyJet total fleet comprises entirely Airbus aircraft. As of February 2020, the group operates the following aircraft:
