A plane had to make an emergency landing when one of the passengers claimed he was on cocaine before sparking up a JOINT in the cabin.
The unscheduled touchdown happened on an American Airlines jet from Phoenix to Minneapolis after the pilot warned of an urgent ‘security issue’ on board.
The mid-air emergency was sparked when the passenger threw a tantrum and allegedly began telling others he was under the influence of drugs.
The man then got up from his seat and locked himself in the toilet.
Flight attendants tried to coax him out but he only emerged ten minutes later just as the jet came into land.
After touchdown the unidentified man lit his joint and was promptly arrested by police who had boarded the flight who strapped him to a stretcher.
He was then reportedly heard screaming: “Take it off, it hurts. I’ll f***ing kill you!”
