The FAA announcement that it halted flights into LaGuardia Airport due to air traffic control staffing shortages came the day after airline executives warned the shutdown is pushing the U.S. Aviation system to the “tipping point.”

There is a Traffic Management Program in effect for traffic arriving La Guardia Airport, New York, NY (LGA). This is causing some arriving flights to be delayed an average of 41 minutes.

Traffic is experiencing Gate Hold and Taxi delays between 30 minutes and 44 minutes.
