Qantas #QF6031 was forced to perform a go-around on approach to Sydney airport.

The Boeing 737-800 (reg. VH-XZJ) with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on board had to perform a go around on approach to 16R due to aircraft still on runway.

The flight captain, Nigel Rosser, announced that the aircraft were ‘too close’ and the plane wouldn’t be able to land due to the “missed approach”.

After the missed approach, the passenger jet then circled and then landed safely on its second attempt.

The royal couple left Tonga today to return to Australia for the next part of their 16-day Commonwealth tour.
