Budget carrier flydubai announced on Wednesday a $27-billion-order for 175 Boeing 737 MAX and will more than triple the airline’s current fleet of 61 aircraft.
Flydubai will take delivery of those aircraft starting 2019 and until 2029.
By the end of this year, the carrier will have a fleet of 61 Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Another 70 aircraft is due for delivery to flydubai by 2023.
Flydubai and Boeing only reached this mega deal last evening.
