ALERT ATC strike in France, up to 33% reduction flights from/to Paris

The disturbances to be expected concern the Bordeaux and Brest ACCs, from Monday 6 March to Friday 10 March. They also concern the Aix-en-Provence ACC from Tuesday 7 March to Thursday 9 March.

UPDATE Monday 6 March 1000 UTC All regulations due to strike are cancelled until 1500 UTC. Possible regulations might be applied for the afternoon period later on.

Given the expected disturbances, airlines are asked to prepare a reduction of their flights programs of:

  • 25% of the number of movements on Paris airports (Orly, CDG and Beauvais taken globally), for flights to or from the South and West only (airports in LFBB and LFRR FIR and airports LExx, LPxx, GCxx, GMxx, DAxx, DTxx) for the days of Monday 6 March and Friday 10 March;
  • 33% of the number of movements on Paris airports (Orly, CDG and Beauvais taken globally), for flights to or from the South and West only (airports in LFBB, LFRR and LFMM FIR and airports LExx, LPxx, LIxx, GCxx, GMxx, DAxx, DTxx) for the days of Tuesday 7 March to Thursday 9 March;
  • 25% of the number of movements on all airports in LFBB FIR taken globally for the days of Monday 6 March to Friday 10 March;
  • 33% of the number of movements on all airports in LFRR FIR taken globally for the days of Monday 6 March to Friday 10 March;
  • 25% of the number of movements on all airports in LFMM FIR taken globally for the days of Tuesday 7 March to Thursday 9 March;
