An Emirates flight has been forced to make an emergency landing in Adelaide overnight after experiencing engine problems.

Emirates flight EK432 from Dubai to Brisbane was diverted to Adelaide after the left engine started causing worries for the pilots.

The aircraft was believed to be a Boeing 777-300ER carrying 328 people when it landed at Adelaide Airport at 9:20pm.

South Australia police confirmed no-one was injured during the emergency landing.
