NEWS Singapore Airlines’ A350 lands in Australia for the first time.

Following a long awaited day & always changing schedules, plane spotters have welcomed SIA’s A350 to Australia.

Melbourne Airport’s viewing areas were full of Plane Spotters on Wednesday evening.
The aircraft was welcomed with the traditional water canon salute by the ARFF as it landed on runway 34.

However, on it’s departure from Melbourne. The pilot’s elected to return to the gate.

Airlive.net is still investigating to find the reason for it’s return.

Singapore Airlines has scheduled for the A350 to be flying to Australia for the next three months.

The aircraft is replacing the 777 on the SQ207 and SQ208 route.

The airline is the second to operate the A350 to Australia.
