Heathrow Airport has a secret huge, ghost railway station built to serve Terminal 5.
The empty station, completed in 2008, already has platforms but the track and signals would need to be installed for it to be operational.
Speaking to BBC News, an exclusive tour, Heathrow’s Chris Joyce said: “The scale is absolutely immense and that for me, this is the biggest kept secret at Heathrow.”
