A user on airliners.net says that Emirates airlines are to announce service between UK airport London Heathrow and New York’s JFK which would bring on tough competition from the British and American airlines.
They say the announcement should be imminent as the service is due to launch in March and is expected to be launched on the A380.
The current operators of the route is American, British Airways, Delta and Virgin Atlantic.
