NEWS Batik Air 737 overrun the runway at Yogyakarta and the landing gear collapsed

Batik air 737-900 PK-LBO flight ID6380 from Jakarta to Yogyakarta with 160 passengers and 5 crew on board. The flight landed on the runway but overran and stopped 100 metres off the end as the nose gear collapsed.

Passengers were evacuated and there was no injuries, however the aircraft received substantial damage.

Indonesia Ministry of Transport said that the pilots claimed the runway was very slippery.
