NEWS Glasgow teacher stranded in Crete after opening vodka on Jet2.com flight

Xanthia Morrison had flown from Glasgow with the northern airline Jet2 for a friend’s wedding in Crete.

She and her friend had bought alcohol from duty free and had began drinking it on the flight.

The 34 year old says she handed it over to the staff after being told that she couldn’t have it.

Then she was banned from flying back to Scotland after claims of her being aggressive.

A spokesman for Jet2 said it has a ‘zero-tolerance approach to aggressive behaviour’ on all its flights
