Boeing Airplanes have announced that the basic design of the B777-9X has reached it’s firm configuration, meaning that the basic design and capabilities have been determined, as well as saying that the program is on time.
Boeing are confident of this happening as they have increased their commercial aircraft production to 76 a month by 2020, up by 14. It is said that the aircraft will compete with the Airbus A350.
