Low cost Russian airline has banned their passengers from chewing gum on board their flights because it is spending too much money from scraping it off the interiors of the aircraft.

The new rules will affects passengers flying with Pobeda. The CEO of the airline said it costs £1,100 to remove each piece of gum that is left behind by passengers.

Twitter users have stated their opinions and are not impressed with the new no-gum rule.

The CEO says that passengers too are allegedly removing the life jackets and safety cards from his aircraft.
