A USAir jet with 51 people on board crashed and burst into flames while taking off from LaGuardia Airport last night, killing at least 19 and injuring dozens, authorities said.
At least 21 rescuers were also injured.
Cleveland-bound Flight 405 skidded off runway 13 in gusting snow into Flushing Bay and exploded shortly after 9:30 p.m.
