A Biman Bangladesh Boeing 777-200, registration S2-AHL performing flight BG-47 (sched. dep. Feb 5th, act. dep. Feb 6th) from Chittagong (Bangladesh) to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) with 241 passengers, was climbing out of Chittagong’s runway 05 when the left hand engine (PW4090) surged prompting the crew to level off at about FL120, shut the engine down
