VIDEO Plane Cirrus SR-22 airplane ran out of fuel and deployed parachute for emergency landing in Pacific ocean

The pilot of a single engine Cirrus SR-22 airplane ran out of fuel 253 miles northeast of the island and was saved after the US Coast Guard contacted a nearby cruise ship to rescue him.
According to the coast guard, the pilot deployed the plane’s airframe parachute system just before 5pm (Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time) on Sunday.
The pilot was reportedly in good condition.
