NEWS Air China has announced new routes for 2015

Air China has announced 13 new routes, with 6 of them being long haul.

The new longhaul routes are that from the 1st June 2015, flight number CA165/CA166 from Beijing to Melbourne will operate on an Airbus A330 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

From 19th June, Beijing to Johannesburg will begin on a Boeing 777-300ER on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays using flight number CA867/CA868

The most surprising route is that from the 20th September, Air China will begin a service on CA879/CA880 from Beijing to Montreal and then onto Havana on a Boeing 777-300ER on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The return will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

From the 25th October CA739/740 from Beijing to Auckland on a daily service and CA741/CA742 from Beijing to Mumbai on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. These two new routes will both operate on an Airbus A330.

For short haul. From 1st June, Beijing to Astana on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays; Beijing to Fukuoka on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays; and Beijing to Hakodate on Mondays and Fridays. These services will fly on a Boeing 737-800. Also, operating on an Airbus A330 on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, a new service to Kuala Lumpur to start on the 25th October.

New routes have also been announced from not just Beijing, but from Hangzhou services will begin to Shizuoka (Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays) on the 29th March and to Osaka (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays) on the 30th March. All operating on an Airbus A320.

Finally, a new route from Tianjin to Jeju to begin on the 2nd April for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on a Boeing 737-800.
